Become A MassONE Admin
I work for a district or school in Massachusetts, and I would like to consider becoming a MassONE Admin. What is involved in this role?
MassONE Admins are responsible for setting up MassONE in their districts. Admins build classroom folders for educators, register other educators, and serve as the lead contacts for MassONE in their respective districts. A MassONE Admin will initially be given full administrative privileges for all schools in the district and may then delegate responsibilities to appropriate other educators as desired. For more information, take a look at the MassONE Administration guide .
What do I need to do to become a MassONE Admin?
First find out if your district or school already has a MassONE Admin by checking the MassONE Admin List.
Then familiarize yourself with MassONE's Acceptable Use Policy and Guidelines. If you have any questions about these policies, contact MassONEHelp@doe.mass.edu.
Ask your superintendent or principal to nominate you for the role, using the appropriate form.
MassONE District Admin Authorization Form
MassONE School Admin Authorization Form
Fax (or mail) your completed form to MassONE using the number listed at the top of the form.
Note that you need to have a standard educator-level MassONE account before MassONE can give you administrative privileges. If you do not already have an account, MassONE will set one up for you upon receiving your authorized MassONE Admin form. After you receive your Welcome email with your user name and temporary password, you should log in to MassONE and then send an email to massonehelp@doe.mass.edu saying that your account is in good working order.
MassONE will grant you the additional administrative privileges and send you all the information you'll need to get MassONE rolling in your district!
