Registration Process

How can I register educators in my school or district?

To register educators, log in and click the "Admin" icon. Then click "Account Management." Choose whether you want to register multiple educators (MER) or a single educator (SER). Follow the steps outlined to register educators. Each educator will receive an email within a few minutes of registration and will be able to login immediately.

How can I register students in my school or district?

Both classroom teachers and MassONE Admins can register students and roster them into workgroups. MassONE uses the Student Information Management System (SIMS) to locate students. For details on registering students and rostering them into groups, log in to MassONE, click the "Help" icon, and select the tutorial on "Student Registration."

Keep in mind that, when setting up accounts for students, MassONE requires that a teacher be responsible for administering the shared resources for the student workgroup and supervising students' activities in MassONE. Before distributing the MassONE account information, the teacher must verify that students understand MassONE's Acceptable Use Policy and Guidelines.

When students first log on to MassONE, they should change their passwords by clicking the "Profile" icon at the top of the page and following the prompts. Students should make careful note of their assigned username and chosen password, keeping them in a safe place for future reference.
