MassONE Specifications

The minimum computer specifications required to access MassONE include:

Operating System:
  • MS Windows 2000/XP
  • MacOS X
Web Browser:
  • Mozilla FireFox 1.x and 2.0.x (PC and MAC)
  • Netscape 9.x (PC and MAC)
  • MS Internet Explorer 6.x sp1 and 7.x(PC only)
  • MassONE is not yet completely compatible with Apple Safari and minor issues may be encountered.
Network Connections
  • Minimum 56kbps Modem
  • Cable/DSL/LAN preferred
Special Considerations
  • Inactivity automatically logged off at 20 minutes
  • Internet Explorer: the survey generate report feature for a csv file requires a save as "name.csv" . user must manually change the file extension to a .csv

Network Configurations

  • Set the district proxy server NOT to cache traffic from the ESE servers
  • Add the " doe.mass.edu " domain to the "white list" on the school/district email server (such as MS Exchange). This would allow all email messages sent from the ESE to reach recipients in your school or district.
